One of my favorite weddings from the summer of 2024 has to be Tina and Zach’s at The Carriage House in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin ! Their day was one of endless happiness and celebration from start to finish. I seriously don’t think there was a single point where I stopped smiling from ear to ear during their entire wedding day. Check out some of my favorite highlights from their day, and see why The Carriage House was the perfect space for them to celebrate their love !
Getting Ready, First Look, and Portraits
Tina and Zach both kicked off their wedding day in the best way possible, in the company of their closest friends. Tina and her bridesmaids got ready together in one of The Carriage House’s on site getting ready spaces, meanwhile Zach and his groomsmen were sharing a drink at the bar on location. Having their favorite people around them meant Tina and Zach were able to keep their excitement high while also remaining grounded so that they weren’t too anxious going into their first look.
When it was time for Tina and Zach’s first look the two could NOT have been more ready for the moment, and they immediately were bursting with joy upon seeing one another. Having their first look on the gorgeous grounds of The Carriage House was the perfect way to officially kick off their summer wedding day ! We had some time for couples and wedding party portraits around the stunning property before it was time to head to the ceremony space.
An Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at The Carriage House
There’s so much beauty to be enjoyed at The Carriage House, and one of my favorite spaces is the outdoor ceremony space of the wedding venue. The simple natural elegance of the space creates a setting that is effortlessly gorgeous, while also not being overbearing. This meant that Tina and Zach were the sole point of attention during their ceremony, and the two could not have been more radiant ! It was a ceremony of laughter, tears of joy, and an unconditional love that deserves to be celebrated. That celebration was soon to follow, as before long Tina and Zach were officially newlyweds !
After their ceremony it was time for cocktail hour and some family photos. With the perfect summer day we had, Tina, Zach and their wedding guests were able to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces of The Carriage House for their cocktail hour. After some time catching up with their friends and family, Tina and Zach prepared for the reception to begin !
Their Wedding Reception Inside The Carriage House
Much like the rest of the day, the evening of Tina and Zach’s wedding was SO much fun. The indoor space of The Carriage House has that same feeling of simple beauty that makes it an ideal space for a wedding reception. Combine that with the fact that the outdoor space was still easily accessible for guests to enjoy throughout the night and you can see why I love this venue so much ! The night was full of incredible moments, from hilarious speeches, to lovely first dances, everything felt just right for Tina and Zach’s celebration.
My favorite moment though had to be when the three of us snuck out for some sunset portraits, taking in the natural beauty of the venue one last time for the day. Tina and Zach ended the day celebrating into the night with their friends and family, the perfect way to cap off an already amazing wedding day.
I’m so glad that Tina and Zach chose to have me document their wedding day at The Carriage House. These two are some of the most incredible people I’ve had the chance to work with, and I couldn’t be happier with how their day came together !
